You may have heard the sigh of relief when I did the test assembly and the shafts are the correct length and the couplings fit in the pump mounts.

Thanks guys, on a project this big I need all the encouragement I can get,
Thats todays project Dave, it will have a shoe running on the slack side, same as a snowmobile. Some use a spring to set the tension, some have a bolt against the shoe. Planning on going for the latter design.
