Back in Rochester, starting up the new 900 hp boiler (36 million BTUs).  Sittin here watching a boiler run at 5%, for hours on end, is mind numbing, ranks right up there with watching grass grow or paint dry.

I asked for a plant tour and was turned down, apparently, they saw no use in it, as I'm not about to buy any machines.

The worse part of the job, is that it's only Tuesday, I can't go home until Friday.

I guess I'll go to YouTube and watch This Old Tony and Tom's videos.

yea I gotta open the hole up by 250 thousands for the bushings to fit, I've seen some made where people used 1/2 inch bolts in them I'm not taking chances of the bolts stretching I used 3/4 X 16 TPI I would rather sqeeze the bushings then have the barrel slip.

everyone that's messed with mauser actions knows how hard they can be to get apart when you have to pull the tube.

Nice work Ed. Tell us what you used for the interrupted cut on the lathe. Did you hold the square stock in a 4-jaw chuck?
