I had them on but is was so hot & humid in the shop that I couldn't see out of them. I was taking a chance when blowing chips off, but mostly far enough away that there was no danger.
I knew sooner or later someone would hit me on that, but hey, I live to have excitement in my life! I ride a motorbike, I drive fast (rarely now), and I occasionally take off the safety glasses when they are more a hindrance than a benefit.
