As mentioned, I got the long DRO mounted yesterday. Now I can work in both metric and inches.
Unfortunately, the longest iGaging scale only allows 35" of travel. If I need an extra inch and a bit, I can remove one of the end mounts. I can't imagine needing the whole 39" between centres anyway.
