Heck of a lead. You risk busting your lathe. It should be done with a vertical head and an endmill, the table doesn't need to swivel but you would need to gear the feedscrew to a home-brewed indexer. The gear ratio determined by the OD and lead.
But you said fast. It sounds like a file and hacksaw would get it out the door today. |
