In another thread. I had the same problem, my lathe,(metric), came with only one change gear and could not do a couple of basic threads 1.75 mm pitch for one and the very first thread I needed to cut!
The above program will help you find every gear combination necessary to cut what you want, find missing gears needed and generably make life easier.
