The Other Measuring Tools

If it where me, i'd be looking for another job, lifes too short to work in a place like that under stress.

God, have fun, laugh, everyone does better work when they are happy.

This is quite useful for measuring, for example, the thickness of sheet when it has a lip - it covers 0-15mm with a resolution of 0.1mm. And no battery required!

I was in the shop today doing a quick surface grinding job for a fellow member here, I had to use one of my surface gauges for checking the part before and after the grind. I decided it would be a good time to get a photo of the two of them. The larger one is a Starrett No.257B (meaning it has both the 9" rod in it and a 12" rod in my toolbox), the small cute one is a Starrett No.56.

I have one of the larger ones gave $15.00 for it from one of the supply houses I frequent here. it had some surface rust spots on it when I got it.
