ieezitin, I notice that the thread is undercut at the base of your adapter (very nice, by the way) do the chucks still register accurately?

Yes... i made the adapter and no there is no register hub.

i was in a hurry one afternoon and with a hint of laziness I needed a spigot for the rotab, i just tuned this up quickly relying on the flat face of the plate its housed on the get flatness, it works very well as long as you seat it with reasonable snug twist to it.

I do admit though i have had a little trouble now and again with some jobs and i need to invest the time making one with a register hub.

For this particular project it worked like a charm..
