had a first Sargent one time when stationed in Alaska that used to like to tell us when it was about 40 below zero that cold was just a figment of our imagination.

I know this, I can put on enough layers to stay warm, I can't take enough of them off to stay cool.

That is an interesting little spark plug. Where did you find one that small?

If you're planning earrings, you'll have to order the platinum ones.

Really sweet engine.

If you can't get one, make one.

Hi Dave-- Tom and Mike.
thanks for your comments.  Tom the plug is a Rimfire made in the USA I think . came from MiniMag in the UK.
It's the long reach version, so its a little on the large size.
And Dave you can keep your beady eyes of my dads Slocome mic he bought it just after WW1 and it's been in use ever since
I have the original box and paper work.

Continuing with the fiddly jobs, the two oil collection cups where made and fitted one for the big end and one for the cylinder.

Further work has been done on the cooling of the head that had to wait until I knew where various components needed to be fitted.
Awaiting ignition and gas valve components. it's all getting a bit tense now we are near the getting it running.

I won't have any finger nails left at this rate.   Brian.  Smiley-dancenana
