Harold Hall Grinding Rest
#1
For those that have built the HH Deluxe Grinding Rest, how about some video or pictures of it in use? My mentor has re-made or made the complete rest after my feeble attempt, and I’m struggling to figure out how to use it.

I have just come across your thread and see that there was no response to your suggestion for videos showing my grinding rest being used.

Whilst, at the time, I could only have suggested that you view my website where there are some articles showing how to use them. Perhaps by now you have studied my website and made some progress with the rest's use.

I can though now say that I have made six videos showing the rests being used, with more to follow. However, I started adding videos to YouTube for many of my workshop projects recently and now have 16 already public, There are though still a few to add to the web with them being issued at around 1 per week but with a short break for Christmas and the new year.

With those finished I will be starting issuing the grinding rest ones, as a series, probably at the end of January.

Should you be interested an index for those that I have already made public it can be found here. http://www.homews.co.uk/page617a.html

Should any one like to receive details of the videos as new ones are publish, then go to my website correspondence page and ask to be added to my mailing list. The page is here   http://www.homews.co.uk/page6.html

Should anyone not be aware of my website there are around 500 pages relating to metalworking, with around 100 pages on my other pastimes. The best place to start is at the book style index here  http://www.homews.co.uk/page463.html

Hi Harold.

I blame your web site for eating up a bunch of my time.  Big Grin

I've downloaded quite a few of your plans and I have to thank you for contributing them to the general public. It's an honor to have you as a member of this small forum and I look forward to the grinding rest videos.

Welcome
