That won't work. The come along is used to pull the sled off of the platform in the garage onto the entryway landing to the point of the first step of the stairs. Then the worm gear winch is attached to the mother ship to lower it down the stairs onto the planks and lower it to the basement. I should do a drawing to show how I'm doing this but I'm too lazy.
