What do you think of this: https://www.willhaben.at/iad/kaufen-und-...241007877/

Compared to the Bernardo PS 100 or FJ100 ?

I think I will go on thursday to the Bernardo factory.

Both of those links gave me error codes. Since you're in the home country of Emco Mier I highly recommend looking for used Emco equipment and accessories. I visited the manufacturing facility around 20 years ago when they still made manual equipment and was very impressed. Surely there are examples of used, but not used up, Emco items on the market.

It looks like who has the Emco small machines keep them as jewels. I got the 125 mm vice, now still in search of the milling machine.

I was suggested the following model: https://www.paulimot.de/fraesmaschinen/m...d-funktion

This looks to me better from all side comparing with the Bernardo KF 25. The only think I do not like is that the table is longer but thinner 160mm vs 180mm of the Bernardo.
I think the SK30 system should be much better than the MK2. isn't it ?

Davide

Hey Davide,

yes SK30 is from the technical side better than MK2. On the downside, SK30 tools are more expensive.

UFinally I bought the Bernardo KF25 L. I visited the company and got a good price. Now I have two problems: getting it out of the car and I hope I didn’t overestimate my D

Now that the machine is done.

Can I ask you some info on how to choose collet holder and collets ? I am oriented on an ER32 holder.

Again prices of collets range from5 to 100 euros each and they do not look so different, What to look for ?

Thanks,

D.
