Quick update - a box of goodies arrived from the US on Friday and amongst the contents was 2 416SS screw on end caps and 1 black pipe housing to replace one that was damaged when I brought them back from the US.
All the parts have been numbered based on the fit of the bearing carriers into the assembly tubes. Also, the adjuster knobs are pinned to the allthread, so they need to line up accordingly.
I didn't get much shop time this weekend, as I had to work all morning and then later that evening.
Next task is to make the pins to fit the roller bearings and I can progress to welding these into place.
