Yep - that will look good, put some colour in the grooves Thumbsup

Brass is heavy so to lighten it (if required) one can drill the inside out, sort of a (hexagon) tube Thumbsup

Dave,

I like the heaviness of brass and making the grooves will remove a fair amount of brass so no hollowing will be necessary.

Dave,

That's easy. They're just brass and delrin washers slid on to the stub of the main body. The left end cap is press fit onto the end to hold the washers tight against each other. Clear as mud?
