Today I decided that it was time to sort out the workshop and find a home for all the manuals and paperwork that I'd acquired resurrecting my Traub CNC lathe. I wanted my desk space back! I'd intended to box it up and put it on top of the machine cabinets, then I thought I'd investigate how much room there was INSIDE the machine. The electrical cabinets already had a couple of document wallets fixed to rails on the doors - and it seemed to me I could bend up some A4 sized shelves to mount on the same rails. There was room for three shelves in places chosen to a: avoid blocking cooling air and b: not interfere with the electrical controls. Door rails were drilled a convenient size for tapping 6mm, and my recently re-built box and pan folder did sterling work making the shelves. Overall very happy with the result, AND I have my desk back
