Not today but on the weekend...
Replaced the cheap plastic knob that broke off the clamp on my compound mitre saw (this is why I don't like plastic knobs Ed). I screwed up when drilling the hole and went too far which is the reason for the snazzy brass insert! I still need to give it the once over on the lathe after milling the grooves.
Next is some parts for a friend that needed modification. The clamps wouldn't grip when tight, so I took 2mm off the main part. They grip now. The round mounts needed a radius to allow them to be screwed onto a length of pipe. In the background is a wing nut driver for my tumbler, made completely from scrap. It takes so long to screw the 3/8-16 wing nut all the way down to bowl. Much quicker with a cordless drill attached.
