Seriously though, do you use it for speeds and feeds? As a user of one of the low-end chinesium lathes, I rely on the noise and sort of a gut feel for speed control. Does having an actual speed number help you get better finishes?
Or is it more of a "it looks cool, and I like it" sort of thing? Which I completely understand if that's the case.
