Wow Kenny, that's even narrower than mine. Mine's about the width of a two car, but only has a single overhead. On one side I have pallet racks (used for shelving) that take up just over 3 feet of width and I lose about 4-5 feet on the other with the stairway to get up to the office. At least under the stairs there's some usable space - storage, compressor, urinal, UPS, ... I still need to do a massive clean and throw-away of junque tho.

I love hearing you American and Australians complaining about the size of you shops :-) I have a 4.5m x 2m garage for my tools, bench, lathe, grinder, drill, 5 pushbikes, 14 scuba cylinders and all my scuba gear and all the domestic tools and materials. It all fits but I have to move a lot of stuff around and sometimes I won't fit in myself!

Oh and my modest 3-bed 1930's semi-detached house with that garage on the outskirts of London would cost £650,000 to buy now...yes, $985,000 US dollars. Living in London sucks sometimes.

I could have got over for £10 in the 1950's if I hadn't been a mere twinkle in my parents eye at the time! These days I doubt I'd have enough points to get in - too old and I think you guys may have enough Pharmacists.

I have some distant family in Toowoomba, Queensland but I have never visited, although I would love too.

I've been registered a while, but just watching along. I should probably post an intro somewhere!
