While in the gearbox the impeller for the super charger was done. It is from an automotive turbocharger. It was not in too bad shape but s little facelift was needed. The end was messed up so a new end was made and pressed in. No need to worry about it commong loosen not enough pressure will be exerted on it. Then the fins need resizing and a new shape. The OD was cut down at the same time. A fixture needed to be made to polish and undercut the center as well as to rebore it. The last pic is the finished impeller.

A tubing bender will be needed later on so during a couple of off days I made this one. That bunch of bearings is only a small part of what I have on hand. Used to work for a Bearing manufacturer,

Those radials are an incredible feat of engineering. It really makes you think about the skills that people had to have back in the day to come up with something like that, without CAD programs and CNC machines and such. Worthy

If a bearing hit the floor, it was mine. If a bearing for any reason were dropped they did not go out the door. They were sent to knock-down and either scrapped or rebuilt after the individual parts were reinspected. It's not done this way anymore. it's not cost effective.
