Just an update. Still no leaks, but I haven't powered it up yet. I'm working on packaging the VFD and related electronics in a proper enclosure. I just had them bolted to a board on the wall so now is the time to do it properly.

All except the spindle which is fairly easy to install.

I got mine from Menards, a home center based mainly in the north central states. Home Depot also carries them.

Lowes probably also sells them. They're about $35.
