I think it could be done with mitre gears, but it would be a bit more involved due to the incline of the mitre.
Well, I guess I'd better put mine on. This is a 12" Vernon shaper I got locally. It is about 90 years old and predates the Sheldon Vernon versions which seem to be more prevalent. Documentation on these machines seems to be pretty scarce. I sure haven't been able to find much. It cuts some mighty big blue chips Smile

That's purdy, Randy. I wish mine were that clean. The one machine I am thinking about scraping in is my shaper. I'm getting the DVD from Richard, and considering hosting a scraping class if there is enough interest.
