What, watch bend radius.... na just keep pumping. :)
1/4" CR flat. uh oh...... (I jumped when it let loose)
Swag Off Road Press. Welding done with my OA torch
Roundrocktom,
I'm sort of copying that one.
So are you reasonably happy with the results.
DaveH
Very happy.
I have a 4' box and pan brake, but for heavier stuff (0.063" and thicker 4130) this has worked great. Just needed more bend radius for 1/4" CR steel. :)
Roundrocktom,
Could you please tell me the thickness of the top die.
Thanks
DaveH
Dave, the top die on the Swag unit is 3/4" x 4" with a 60° angle for the "V".
Thanks Willie,
Mmmm...3/4" thick, I don't have any that thickness, got some 5/8" - may be that will do.

Well, all of this talk about press brakes made me go ahead and order the swagoffroad kit. $140 including shipping. This should make my shop press much more useful.
Sorry Dave. Didn't mean to hijack your thread.

It's fine Ed.
I wish I could get it for $140 including shipping.

Is that the weld yourself version Ed?
I don't see a $140 version on their web site. $150 for the 12 ton version and $170 for the cheapest 20 ton version so I am also interested in what you got.
Had I known you were looking for one I would have offered mine and then replaced it with the
20 TON Finger Brake Heavy Duty DIY Builder Kit.
