Roundrocktom,
I'm sort of copying that one.
So are you reasonably happy with the results.

Very happy.

I have a 4' box and pan brake, but for heavier stuff (0.063" and thicker 4130) this has worked great. Just needed more bend radius for 1/4" CR steel. :)
Roundrocktom,
Could you please tell me the thickness of the top die.
Thanks

Dave, the top die on the Swag unit is 3/4" x 4" with a 60° angle for the "V".
Thanks Willie,
Mmmm...3/4" thick, I don't have any that thickness, got some 5/8" - may be that will do.17428

Well, all of this talk about press brakes made me go ahead and order the swagoffroad kit. $140 including shipping. This should make my shop press much more useful.

Sorry Dave. Didn't mean to hijack your thread. Blush

It's fine Ed.
I wish I could get it for $140 including shipping. Cool

Is that the weld yourself version Ed?
I don't see a $140 version on their web site. $150 for the 12 ton version and $170 for the cheapest 20 ton version so I am also interested in what you got.

Had I known you were looking for one I would have offered mine and then replaced it with the 20 TON Finger Brake Heavy Duty DIY Builder Kit.
