Rob, it must be at least 35 years ago - not sure even what happened to the lathe never mind the top slide! I do remember making the new top slide was a very instructive exercise with the limited tools I had then.

I bet you still have the original slide stashed away some where in that safe place we all have, but cant remember exactly where that is

Posted on Cincinnati Craig's List for $1200 bought for $900. New list price is $4600 + change. Looks like it was set up, but almost never used. Cables, cylinder rams, etc show no wear. Paint shows washer marks on floor mounting plates. It was listed as a 7000# unit, but looks much heftier. Anyone out there have experience with these?
