Started sanding out the scuff marks where they removed the decals and polishing.

So we must oblige the Man with some teeny-weeny toys we played with
These Carbide De-Burrs were made from, (would U believe it - scrap Bolts), some time ago, and should have been Knurled first and then finished.
Well I did not have the Knurling Tool at that time, and only got to doing it now, on the best available space.
Check out the difference in the finish - made with the same Knurl. Guess that's the effect of difference hardness in Material. Amazing.

aRM, I've found that the knurl pattern produced changes depending on the diameter of the piece being knurled.

That makes sense. There's always a logical explanation !!!
Thanks for sharing this info. Will remember this 'cos we have some 10 mm rounds to knurl in S/S 303 and Ti for Thumb-Bobs, which will be nice to work on.
