I enjoy power hacksaws they aren't real fast but nice to set, then let it work. Built one almost 30 years ago, it worked slick but sold it during a move to build a new house.

I built myself a power hacksaw back in the early days as a home machinist, it served me well until I got my 4x6 Asian bandsaw, what a difference.
I still have the much abused, repaired, modified 4x6 but my home made 9 x 17 bandsaw is the do all (pun intended) and end all now.
Busy Bee 12-36 lathe, Busy Bee Mill drill, Busy Bee 4x6 bandsaw, Homemade 9x17 bandsaw, Ad infinitum.
