Well, the stars aligned......I dug out the crow bar pried open my wallet......and it worked its magic......

Well, sorta........

The saw shown in the link in my previous post........well, a surplus machinery dealer in Washington had one for sale on ebay, brand new, never used. Just won the auction for $1,875.00!

I am one happy dude, let me tell you!!!

Picked up that same saw for half price.

Damn I love it when things go right! Seems every time I bid on ebay someone always comes in right at the end and rains on my parade!

Not today.......

Russ

You really deserved to get a deal like that after the struggles you've been having with the old Enco saw.

You have definitely earned the coveted award:

You Suck

Congratulations.

How is it shipping and are they charging $3,287.43 to do it?

Big Grin

Shipping via common carrier. $169.00 plus $75.00 for the liftgate service.

All totaled it came to $2,119.00. I can't complain one bit........

I easily just saved myself a good $1,700.00 on that deal.

I'll believe it's actually true when I see it sitting on my floor! Big Grin

Thanks, and later,
Russ

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment but I seem to always want to find something 1/2 worn out or at least needing some serious TLC thus my "new" Wellsaw bandsaw. Also stumbled onto a little Johnson Model B that I couldn't resist for another project.

I think you'll be happy with the Wellsaw. My brother has a model 58B and it seems to be a fairly well built tool.
