I was checking out the desk. Those old desks are built like tanks. You could put a lathe on it and it would laugh at it. Oh, and nice V-block. Big Grin

Nice find Rob. I wonder if that Kanetec company is the same that make Kanetsu magnetic chucks for surface grinders. Those are excellent quality, found on Okamoto and Mitsui machines. Good chance they're related.

You are correct Ed and I have no idea why I wrote surface grinder.  I'm actually wanting to see the set up on the shaper.
