I found Pixman a new boring bar

here is a photo of a boring bar that I said the next time I was in the store I would see about taking a photo of it. I had mentioned that it was 4" in dia. I was wrong its 3 inches in diameter and roughly 4 feet long.

its carbide is what I was told and from the scared up sticker on it the max load is 7000 N at 75 degrees C

I was going to pick it up for use on my 7X12 but figured that I'd probably just break it.

I don't think so Dave.  That bar looks solid enough to withstand use on your 7x12 Big Grin
