The graduations on the swivel base behind the clapper box got pretty faint after the molasses dip so i mounted it on the indexing head and recut them with an engraver I ground out of a broken 1/4 inch carbide drill. Restamped the numbers as well.

Your right Vinny, the little box does set the focus, but it has a sun beside it, thought it was for exposure.

don't stand if front of it even if you were the last one that used it, damn things will reach out and hurt you, but I sure like watching mine run. I ever get the cast iron thing down pat I may start making guards to fit the little 7 inch Delta Shaper, guards are normally the first thing to get broken or lost, I was lucky mine came with all the guards.

looks like you have it about back together.
