Mk II coming soon? Perhaps with a 40tpi thread?

Darren,

Nope, what I have works as is, especially with the added swarf guard. I could reduce the diameter of the nut to create a gap.

Fair call Ed, as it is a quality carriage stop. I just know how you like to draw things up in CAD and then make them. Guess you have less time for machining now that you are brewing Smiley-eatdrink004

I hate throwing away a usable tool especially after all of the work I put into it so I'll work with it's minor limitations. But you are correct in that I enjoy drawing up projects in CAD prior to making them. Not to fear though, I have plenty of other projects on the list. Smile

Thanks George. No acknowledgment necessary though. I just ask that you start a thread and post pictures as the project progresses. Smile
