Yup its only a temp ... don't trust it ( locks are chepo) and has one too many swivels that el get ya in trouble. I have some other spare box of parts was gona use for vice stop that are perfect , only needed to add thumb locks or socket head lockdowns , but all that stock is 1/2 diam . It would be big and bulky. Ill prob end up using them for grinder table mods.
Anyways So when I get around to it I will make it correctly using smaller diam rods and clamps. Keep it stream line it tight to vice with a low profile so it don't interfere with head of machine.

Quick n  EZ practical Mod . I was going to purchase new handles w/ 8mm x 1.25 x 81 mm bolts to extend my Y axis table locks like another fella did using this idea .

Took quick way out found some scrap and did them at work on lunch and break. . If anyone interested I posted the details here under this thread

I have asked this question on other boards but never gotten an answer such that I could find them with Google and more specifically on McMaster-Carr.

What do you call this type of bolt\handle\adjuster:

Did a little more work on the AR15. Finished the mounting area for the hand grip, drilled the hole for the buffer locking plunger and roughed out the magazine well. The slot was 2 3/4" deep and roughed with a 3/4" X 3" and a 1/2" X 3" end mill. Gotta make a slotting tool to pick out the corners before the mag will fit.

Not a damn thing Darren. I still have some tooling to build before I can drill the barrel and project time has been pretty slim lately. Unless you count kitchen cupboards, a new chicken coup, tractor repair and barn restoration (still have the roof to do) for my son. Whip
