Looking at the colours of commercial log splitters lots of red, red & black, green, yellow and orange but I haven't seen a pink one or purple Rotfl

I'd say paint it pink and purple with yellow spots

Whatever starts your tractor Dave...
You'd never lose it in a crowd of log splitters.
Make it ugly, and no one will ever steal it.

I can't really make it ugly - because what about when I enter it in "The Log Splitter Show" Smile

Im sure it will take best in breed.
I think I may have solved the case of the missing 25mm thick bar. Smile
I'm also missing 4 files and if I'm working on the welding table as I was with the log splitter I nearly always leave them on the bottom shelf of the welding table.

I think someone 'jumped over the wall' to see if there was any thing worth taking, took the files and probably the 25mm bar which they would sell for scrap.
It happens, I'm sure that is what happened.
