Made a start on the ash dump today ,plasma cut the parts from 6mm and 12 mm stainless . On my state of the art plasma table LOL .

Busy Bee 12-36 lathe, Busy Bee Mill drill, Busy Bee 4x6 bandsaw, Homemade 9x17 bandsaw, Ad infinitum.

A bit more done today   Big Grin , worked on the air control valve spindle , this was turned and screw cut , then slapped onto the mill like so .

Two flats mill on the screwed section .

Then a section of spindle was milled away for the gate /butterfly .

And then a couple of hole were poked in .

Next a 1 mill thick disc was turned , this needs two slots milled . I used an old bearing race to centre the chuck with the aid of my Zero set indicator (Wilson copy) , just love that tool .  Cool

Then the disc mounted and milled .
