Thanks,
The test started out poorly, the splitter circuit worked but couldn't get movement on anything else, turned out two vanes in the small pump were stuck. That pump could be a little bigger, its .1 cubic inch per revolution could do with a .2 but it was in stock.
The hydraulics will load the engine but the saw didn't seam to phase it at all, mind a pretty small Ash test piece. Will have to get the chain oiler working now for a real test.
Yes I was a happy camper when it all seamed to work.
Thanks for watching

it left the shop, so I'm wondering what shade of iron oxide its going to aquire
I tucked it back in bed Dave. Mind you its mostly rusted metal anyway.
waiting anxiously for the video with it running bigger wood, I think a nice blue would suit it well

its been a long build but well worth the effort from what I see
Excellent!! Congratulations on your successful first test.
Come on Greg get the oiler mounted and lets see some destruction of logs!
Now that I know the concept works, it may take me forever to finish it BF. The interesting part is over, now its work.
And I may have broke your curse, the planer parts arrived and its back running.
Got a question Greg,

How will you the move the machine, is it towed, sits on pads like out riggers for a crane when located?
Greg
Ideally it should have a tandem axle with suspension if it was meant for highway hauling, but this will only be moved with the tractor so I went with a heavy single axle. With the 3 point hitch on the tractor I can lower the tongue, block the back then lift the front and block it. The legs will work for adjusting the level.
