Sorry, but, Illegal doesn't equal insane, actually the opposite is often true and there's nothing insane about risking a fine to get a good toolroom lathe. I have risked more Confused to get less.

Did have a pic of my original Clarke CL500 combi, since lost / deleted ? before upgrading to... Warco WM250V-F; alongside my WM16 mill as set up just after I completed my garage conversion last year. I have since changed the 4 way TP to a Dickson type QCTP. It has worked fine 'straight out of the box ' after initial clean up & setting up.
