I was checking out the desk. Those old desks are built like tanks. You could put a lathe on it and it would laugh at it. Oh, and nice V-block.

Nice find Rob   , looks to other stuff in that there blue box too   its metal if nothing else . That dest will be a H/duty thing too I would say looking at it

Nice find Rob. I wonder if that Kanetec company is the same that make Kanetsu magnetic chucks for surface grinders. Those are excellent quality, found on Okamoto and Mitsui machines. Good chance they're related.

Nice haul Rob. When you come to re-work the vee on that block, can you show the set-up on your surface grinder please?

Very nice V-block Rob, I'd kill for the desks though!

You are correct Ed and I have no idea why I wrote surface grinder.  I'm actually wanting to see the set up on the shaper.
