Ya, but one in EACH of the two (2) transformers.
I wish I'd had my digital camera back in the day. I might have taken pics of the set-up that came with the lathe.

Ah, I didn't realize you were talking about two transformers. I doubt it would work but I'm afraid you've tapped all of my transformer physics knowledge, little that there was.

Darren, I can't even interpret my sketches I would hardly subject you guys to them.
Besides, why did I care? I was scrapping the humongeous brush style motor and it's frankenstien speed controller with it's two large vacuum tubes that glowed purple and hummed tunes I couldn't identify.

Because you never know when such sketches will come in handy. Where would we be today if the cave men didn't scratch stick figure men hunting prehistoric animals on cave walls? We may have assumed that they had a prehistoric grocery store and that would have made the Flintstone's cartoons more documentary and less child entertainment!

Old Powermatic drill press, not fancy but functional. Has power feed and is nice to have handy when the mill is set up and I need to drill a few holes.

Past, present and future projects.
Here's some pics of my shop and machines doing some project work. The shop was built in 2003, the first machine I bought for it was the Ellis 1600. The Ellis is the heart of the shop, if it were ever to be to taken away from me I would stop welding and sell everything else.
