Thank you Dave. OK that's it for today, wait, I just said that a few posts back. I really have to get these prints done.

Billy,
Are those two crescent shaped cut-outs functional or decorative?
Ed
Hi Billy,
Wondering if you have a picture of the finished Die Filer.
DaveH
I haven't built it yet. This is my design Dave, not someone elses. There are similarities but I have never seen one this big that wasn't industrial.
Let me know if this is OK Ed.

That will work.

That piece is made from 6.000 diameter 6061, 1 inch thick. Two can be made at the same time. I gave you a cutting guide to show this. The center is bored to 5.000 diameter X .5625 deep, then thye parts are cut.

You lost me Billy. Easily achieved, I know.
How does the cutting guide, the first picture below, help you cut the trunnions, the second picture?

It doesn't, that is the cutting guide for the Guides for the Trunnions. Trunnions bolt to table, Guides bolt to side frames. Here is the print of the top of the side frames with the guide holes. Also, those crecent shaped holes are cosmetic.
