Oh how i wish it was truly Job totally done, unfortunately it's just the spinner, and that breeds another job of making the starter drive with a rubber lining and a sprag clutch to catch the over run.
Lot's more to do
Brian.
Ah well, we'll be patient. I figured you at least had an ignition system to create yet before we hear it purr.
I'm thinking a RC biplane.

Starter drive? Methinks you've spoiled yourself Brian. When I was a youngster all we had were "chicken sticks". Big Grin

Just kidding. When I had my helo the starter drive / fuel pump box was an absolute necessity.
Now it's back to the serious stuff, making piston rings.
Just turn a tube of Iron a little oversize.
Split it lengthwise to create the ring gap.
Clamp it in the chuck tightly to close the gap.
Turn the ring to size inside and out.,
Part off.
26mm diameter--- 1.5mm wide---1mm thick.

There now that was simple wasn't it ?????

Steady progress being made, .  The ignition system is nearly done  just the hall sensors to be mounted.   Then i need a stand for the engine so i can get on with the Oil and Fuel tanks.  Battery. Tach. Throttle.  ETC  ETC

It's coming along nicely, Brian. I applaud you perseverance. Worthy

What did you use for spark plugs?

Tom
Hi Tom The plugs are from the hit and miss engines sold by Banggood. I
also have kits from Hemingway. to make circular discharge plugs if necessary.
Just beginning to se a light at the end of the tunnel.
Brian.
