Very nice Rob, Smiley-signs107

Mike,

John was referring to the cleanliness of your shop. It's immaculate, like a hospital operating theater. Smile

Very nice work gentlemen. Rob, I am curious as to why your weldment looks like a casting- I assume it is sandblasted on the non-contact side? Looks terrific however it's done.
A lot of the tools I have made are butt ugly, as they are often made for one off jobs or don't need to be pretty.  In fact, some are uglier than a hat full of busted arseholes!

Here are a few:

Small drill chuck on a handle - very handy for deburring holes and holding small round bits when using a bench grinder.
[attachment=11585]

Wheel rim forge - mainly used for annealing tough steel and melting small volumes of aluminium to make round stock.
[attachment=11586]
[attachment=11587]

Wrench for the spindle locking nut on my mill.
[attachment=11588]

Tool for fitting the bearing for the knee elevation screw into the knee on my mill.
[attachment=11589]
[attachment=11590]

Wheel adapter puller and pin wrench for my surface grinder.
