It wasn't delivered to me by a truck but it did fall off the back of one...

Last week I received a safety railing for my scaffolding from Northern Tools.

Great job by UPS Angry

One railing is slightly bent, but I decided not to return it as it still assembles OK.  However all the hardware probably ended up on a warehouse floor and then a trash can.

Northern is making things right by reimbursing me for hardware purchased locally.  The last time I had a box delivered this torn up UPS wanted to just give me a run around even though it was packaged by a UPS Store.  So I'll just deal with Northern.

On edit:  Just called Northern and they are sending me a $20.00 gift card for reimbursement.  That was easy.
I'm sure these carrier companies send their employees to 'special training' to cause as much damage in transit as they can. Big Grin

Some people just do not care.

I was thinking a couple of grizzly bears were playing catch.
Got my first grown up's measuring thingy today. It was a flea bay acquisition and seems to be in good working order.

I have a Mitutoyo which looks to be identical, right down to the tiny writing in the battery compartment lid. I've had it for at least 13 years, and its' a good'un. I think you'll like it.
Received the $20.00 gift card from Northern today only 4 days after calling them.  I call that excellent service.   Thumbsup
I've had my Mitutoyo for about 35 years. I think I've put maybe 5 batteries in it in all that time.

Treat it right, and it will last a lifetime.

These angle blocks arrived mid week , No idea of the manufacture , there is a name etched into each block along with the angles .

The blocks are hardened and ground and go up or down in 5 degree increments  and there 5/8 thick .
