Let me help you out with that then. Big Grin

It would look like this one that the red arrow is pointing at. Just a few more to go Ed, and you'll be able to tap just about anything, any size up to 3/4"/20mm threads. Beyond that, single point 'em!

This set overlaps slightly but basicly steps up from where my other set left off, shown in this picture of my friends set on its original wooden stand. Mine is stored in the door shelves if my wall cabinets.

This set is from 9.55 mm x 6.15 mm to 49.26 mm x 42.86 mm in both 38 and 101.5 mm long.

Nice dividing head

I got a Vertex 9" a month back. Was supposed to be B&S #9 but was MT3 and the spindle was supposed to be 1-1/2x8 threaded with the primary index plate seerate from the chuck plate, but now they are combined.. GRRRR.

So it will work, but more trouble to change chucks etc if needed.

Walter
Ordered this yesterday.

Got these dies today. They are made in China but at least they are some version of HSS, at least they claim to be. I checked the price on the better ones and they were way over my budget. If these don't work out, I'll just buy good ones as I need them rather than drain the bank account all at once.
