may of been someones school project,

damn nice find you made there Rob
I picked up a set of smaller angle blocks a few months ago. I've used them quite a few times already. Good score.
hi rob their brill  Thumbsup
Got my second grown up measuring thingy today. I found it on my local CL and it is in excellent condition.
Ive seen these being used by various people on YouTube, seems like a good tool for my Bridgeport mill, that is if I ever get it finished.

Not sure what all the bits and bobs are for but it will be fun finding out.

Off to the US now for 10 days, baseball and elections seem to be popular at the moment!

Cheers
John

An old, but as new, Jones & Shipman dividing head complete with accessories arrived today. Looks like it was maybe used once or twice, cleaned, oiled, and then put away and forgot about. A premium quality tool, it wasn't cheap, but I got my moneys worth; A lucky find on ebay for sure.

Absolutely correct.  Excellent find.

BTW, did you know  You Suck ?
It has a smaller center height ( 3.75" ) which is what I was looking for, and perfect for my Tom Senior mill. I've been searching for a T.S. dividing head which is almost identical to this Jones & Shipman for a long time now. Your right Andrew, "it is" extremely well made. I have a Jones and Shipman vice, which gave me a good indication of the quality I could expect. Yeah, happy day.
