Rob, it must be at least 35 years ago - not sure even what happened to the lathe never mind the top slide! I do remember making the new top slide was a very instructive exercise with the limited tools I had then.
I bet you still have the original slide stashed away some where in that safe place we all have, but cant remember exactly where that is

I do not have room yet as the next project is raising the shop roof to 12 ft.
The pink bike is to go to a local homeless shelter after it is repaired. Just one part of the ministry where I attend.
BTW, my engine hoist gave up the ghost when I tried to lift the first mast.
Need to keep an eye out for a new air over hyd replacement cylinder.
Nothing like having motivation to raise the roof.
